If your laptop is running on either Windows 8 or Windows 10, the easiest way to get a screenshot is to press the Windows key and the ‘Prt Sc’ key together. You will see the picture on the screen, but it will be saved in the Pictures folder. If this isn’t working, you can try pressing the Fn key and their Sc key to saving the picture.
The first method may not work because in some cases the Prt Sc key would have been assigned other functions. The option to use the Snip & Sketch tool is also available on a Windows computer. You can find the word “Snip” on the Windows search box and then use the menu to find the sketch.

An image of the full screen will be stored in the Pictures>>Screenshots folder. The combination of Fn + Windows key + End/Port Sc is what you can try if you don’t find the screenshot in the folder.
The laptop will work with this. The other two options on the laptop are editing using Paint and using the Snipping Tool that is already explained for other brands.

Take Screenshots the Easy Way With SnagIt, a Powerful Tool
Greenshot is a powerful tool, but each method has its limitations, even though Windows 10 is packed with useful screenshot features. You might want something even more powerful if you take a lot of screenshots and want more flexibility.
If you don’t mind spending a small amount of money on a tool, Techsmith’s SnagIt is an incredibly powerful tool. It has features for targeting specific windows and capturing the full text of scrolling windows in your browser, which makes it easy to take a screenshot.
If you like, it can record videos of your screen, turn them into animated GIFs, add video from your webcam and audio from your microphone, and help you easily trim those video clips so you can only include what is important.
You can imagine a screenshot tool should be able to do a lot more than just extract text from a screen. If you need to take a lot of screenshots, it is a great application that we recommend.
